The University of Oregon is partnering with Equity Corps of Oregon (ECO) to facilitate a pop-up event on May 28, 2025 for students, staff, and faculty affected by or interested in learning more about the recent changes to immigration and visa rules.

The event will include a virtual information session where an ECO immigration attorney will discuss the current state of affairs, what we might expect to happen in the near future, and address common concerns.

The $25 million investment names the Schnitzer School of Global Studies and Languages

In the last few weeks, the US Department of Homeland Security has revoked the visa status of four international students at the University of Oregon. Since that time, and with the help of outside legal counsel, all four students have found pathways to remain in the US legally. Additionally, as of 3:00 p.m. on April 27, all four students have had their visa status reactivated, one via court action.

Apply by May 15 for up to two Global Education Oregon grants
