Support for Ukrainians

The Division of Global Engagement is carefully tracking the unfolding, tragic situation in Ukraine. If you would like to support Ukrainians by donating money, below you will find a variety of organizations working to provide relief and support during this conflict. These organizations have been vetted by the Better Business Bureau (BBB).
  • Catholic Relief Services and partners on the ground are preparing to help Ukrainian refugeed. Your donation assists their efforts to provide safe shelter, hot meals, hygiene supplies, fuel to keep warm, transport to safe areas, counseling support and more.
  • Direct Relief provides medical aid in ongoing conflicts and natural disasters. When you select the Donate button at the top of the site, you can select "Direct my donation to: 1. Ukraine Crisis" in the form.
  • GlobalGiving has created the Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund, with a goal of raising $7 million. Your donation will go toward shelter, food, and clean water for refugees; health and psychosocial support; access to education and economic assistance, and more.
  • International Medical Corps is expanding their relief efforts in Ukraine to provide medical, mental health, and gender-based protection services to those affected by the conflict. 
  • International Rescue Committee is on the ground in Poland and preparing to support displaced families. Your donation will help them provide food, medical care, and emergency supplies to refugee families.
  • Operation USA is preparing to support Ukrainian refugees in Poland and nearby countries with vital material aid and cash grants by partnering with and supporting community-based organizations on the ground. You can restrict your donation to "Support Ukrainian Refugees" near the bottom of the form.
  • Save the Children has been operating in Ukraine since 2014, providing humanitarian aid to children and families in crisis. Your donation to the Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund can help provide children and families with immediate aid such as food, water, hygiene kits, psychosocial support and cash assistance.
  • United States Association for UNHCR is working on the ground in Ukraine and neighboring countries to provide humanitarian assistance to refugees of the conflict in Ukraine.
