All of us in International Student and Scholar Services, and across the Division of Global Engagement, share our sympathies for the victims of the recent earthquake that affected Turkey, Syria and the entire region. The human toll of natural disaster touches us all, reminding us of our common fragility in the face of forces beyond our control.
For our students, faculty, staff and visitors with ties to the region, we understand that this is a very difficult time to be away from families and loved ones back home. Tragedies make it challenging to focus on studies, work and can interrupt other aspects of everyday life. We are here to help and are eager to assist in any way we can during this difficult time.
