Monday, November 16th marks the launch of International Education Week (IEW), which celebrates and promotes the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. The week is co-hosted by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA), U.S. Department of State, and the U.S. Department of Education. Communities across the United States and in more than 100 countries around the world are participating in International Education Week.
This year’s IEW theme is “Access for All,” underscoring the 25th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Department’s commitment to reaching diverse, disadvantaged, and marginalized audiences through educational exchange programs.
