What You Make Possible in UO Internationalization

Small awards go a long way to boost campus morale and showcase internationalization!  We honor students, faculty and staff who boost study abroad, expand faculty global research impact and care for our international student and international communities.
Oregon Rising in the Global Curriculum
Help faculty members develop courses to add global dimension to a strategic theme to our university focus on environmental resilience, human performance and sport, scientific impact, and childhood behavioral and mental health.

Global Student Recruitment in Key Markets
Establish UO brand in key markets to support enrollment in our top ranked programs in fields as diverse as sustainable architecture, sports business, psychology, and biomedical engineering.
Boost UO Global Rankings
UO is on the rise in global rankings!  Help us soar further in QS, Times Higher and AWRU by supporting global marketing of UO’s top programs, outreach to influencers and media and promotional events.
Global Alumni Programs
Sponsor an alumni forum in key global markets to showcase UO expertise on topic of world wide interest (e.g. Sport and Global Markets: Trade and Development in Emerging Economies; Planetary Health).
UO Academic Embassies
Support a permanent UO presence in your region to help with recruitment, local research collaboration, UO student study and internships experiences, and robust alumni engagement.
Begin UO Studies Overseas
Help set up in-person studies for international students in their home region, studying English in a UO approved curriculum with UO trained instructors. In this UO program overseas, students can also earn UO credits while close to home in general education subjects and in compelling topics like sports business, environmental design, entrepreneurship and global health. Here we are open to investment partners to help start these overseas UO study centers and share newt proceeds.
International Hotel & Conference Center on Campus
Convert under-utilized campus properties into a global venue for major conferences, a hotel for international (and domestic) visitors, housing for international visiting scholars, a new home for the Division of Global Engagement, and a program to teach UO students global hospitality. UO loses much revenue in conference and event hosting and international visitor housing. We are looking for an investment partner to help support this project and share net proceeds from these new businesses.
Name the Division of Global Engagement
Your naming support ensures that our students, scholars and faculty don’t just study the world – they live in it, learn from it and shape it. The Division of Global Engagement is where that journey begins, opening doors that change how Ducks see – and engage – the world. Help sustain that mission with a naming gift for the division or its leadership positions!
