UO’s Steve Huter, director of Network Startup Resource Center (NSRC) has been working as an international partner with AfChix, a mentorship program that promotes technology learning and careers for African women.

The goal of AfChix and AfNOG is to create a vibrant network of African Women in Computer Science and related areas for the purpose of supporting each other.

AfChix facilitates networking and sharing of opportunities with women in computer science, creates a platform for mentorship targeting upcoming young women in information technology, and identifies opportunities and broker partnerships for professional training and development.
