Lori O'Hollaren, Associate Director of the Center for Asian and Pacific Studies (CAPS) has been named new Associate Director of the Global Studies Institute (GSI).
O'Hollaren will be holding a shared appointment with 70% of her time devoted to her new role within GSI, and the remainder of her time serving as associate director for CAPS.
O'Hollaren has worked for the past 20 years promoting and building CAPS into a nationally recognized research and outreach center. She has also lent her skills and energy to support the development of Latin American Studies, African Studies, and Global Oregon.
In her new role, O'Halloren will be an integral partner in worldwide initiatives involving grant writing, fundraising, program building, and innovation in support of UO international academic excellence.
