The number of Chinese undergraduates on U.S. campuses has grown at a faster rate than the development of policies and services to better meet the needs of these students. This raises questions for staff and faculty working with the students.
- What are the best practices for integrating these students into campus life, into the classroom, and into the community?
- What are some of the issues schools face with the sudden influx of students from one country?
- How do the needs of these students differ from other international students on U.S. campuses?
The Office of International Affairs and its Office of International Student and Scholar Services will be conducting a series of seminars at the UO to address some of these issues and other questions surrounding the presence of this new and growing student population:
