Message to Students from the Program Director

Dear UO students,

As we welcome in the new year, we are offering a free experience to assist all students with tips to being successful learning in an online/remote environment. The “Success in Online Learning: A Student Resource Kit” is available to all students. In fact, the UO has automatically registered the entire student body. Don’t worry! This is a non-credit, non-graded course.

You can access this asynchronous guided online resource containing a package of video presentations, self-reflection, and core activities to improve your online learning strategies. Get to it by logging into community.uoregon.edu. Do NOT try to log in through Canvas. It will not show up on your canvas app.

Log in with your Duck ID; click on the Success in Online Learning: A Student Resource Kit to enter the site, and select the modules on topics of interest to you.

These resources are perfect for students who are new to online/remote learning or have struggled in the past. The flexible schedule and related topics will allow you to access practical resources to help you become a better learner. If you have any questions, please contact Elly Vandergrift at ellyvan@uoregon.edu.

Sincerely,

Elly Vandegrift
