Overview

La Trobe UniversityThis program allows University of Oregon students the opportunity for total immersion at an Australian University. The program is open to UO students from any discipline for a semester or full academic year of study (Australian academic calendar: February - December).

Highlights:

  • La Trobe University is a multi-campus research university, with a wildlife reserve on their main Bundoora campus.
  • La Trobe University is one of Australia's leading teaching and research universities with an international reputation for academic excellence and innovation.
  • Along with many traditional classes, La Trobe offers several unique areas of study, such as aboriginal studies, environmental management, Hellenic studies, zoology, human physiology, and cinema studies.
  • La Trobe University's Outdoor/Adventure education program offers a chance to explore the Australian outback through bushwalking, rock-climbing, canoeing and more.
  • Students can participate in a variety of extracurricular activities including sports, theater, and outdoor activities.
