The University of Oregon is pleased to welcome new international students for the 2011-12 academic year.  This year the university expects to host approximately 2,000 international students from more than 80 countries.  You, along with all of the other international students studying at the University of Oregon, are now a part of the UO’s international community.  Your presence here enriches the campus environment and adds to the diversity of the institution.

International Student Orientation (ISO) is mandatory for new international students. We cover many important topics at ISO and you will have a chance to get acquainted with the campus, learn about the student services available to you, take the AEIS (Academic English for International Students) and math placement tests, meet with an Academic Adviser, register for classes, and much more.  You'll also make lots of new friends!

Spring 2012 ISO is Thursday, March 29 through Friday, March 30, 2012

• ARRIVAL DATE: Plan your arrival to be here by the start of ISO on March 29 at 8:30 am in the Mills International Center.
• WELCOME HOST FAMILY: If you need a place to stay for a few days before ISO begins, sign up for the Homestay program sponsored by the Friendship Foundation for International Students (FFIS).
