International Student Orientation PDF Print E-mail

The University of Oregon is pleased to welcome new international students for the 2009-10 academic year.  This year the university expects to host approximately 1,200 international students from more than 80 countries.  You, along with all of the other international students studying at the University of Oregon, are now a part of the UO’s International community.  Your presence here enriches the campus environment and adds to the diversity of the institution.

During the International Student Orientation (ISO) you'll have a chance to get acquainted with the campus, learn about the many different UO student services available to you, take the AEIS (Academic English for International Students) and math placement tests, meet with an Academic Advisor, register for classes, and much more.  Not to mention, you'll make lots of new friends!

We know that moving to a new country can be a little scary at first, but luckily the ISO is designed to help you get adjusted and settled in.  The ISO is a fun and exciting event, but don't just take our word for it, check out the following videos.
