Homestay Program PDF Print E-mail

The Homestay Program is a free, short-term hospitality program run by the Friendship Foundation for International Students. Local families and individuals host new international students for a few days at the beginning of each term, at no cost to the student. The Homestay Program is designed to help new international students feel welcome upon arrival and get them connected with the community. Experience has taught us that international students are more likely to be successful when they make connections with families and friends from the very beginning.

The dates of the Homestay Program directly precede the opening of on-campus housing and International Student Orientation. The dates vary with each term, but the time period is the same each year.
