Howard Teasley
I practice "applied economics" or "litigation accounting" as an expert witness for lawyers.  When they argue about someone's money, I estimate how much, especially in personal injury (lost income or earning capacity, costs of future care) and divorce (value of business or pensions).  This uses my UO economics and statistics plus the accounting I've acquired since through the US CMA (Certified Management Accountant) and Canadian CGA (Certified General Accountant).  www.teasley.ca.
I keep up the 60s UO running habit (we live on Vancouver's seawall) and cross-train by dragonboat racing.  We moved to Canada and Vancouver in 1980.

Retired on January 1st 2007 - smartest career move I ever made :-)
Since then I have done a little consulting (provides travel money), learned to fly an old fashioned, open cockpit biplane (scary!!!!!!), and have traveled a lot - mostly to the UK and the South Pacific.  Kathy and I took a fantastic cruise on the M.S. Paul Gaugin last summer around the Society Isles (Tahiti, Bora Bora, Ta'aha and Mo'orea), the Tuamotos and the Marquesas.  Christmas 2008 was spent visiting my daughter - a prof at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand, with a stop in Sydney, Australia on the way down and two weeks in the Cook Islands on the way home -  the Cooks are often called ""Heaven on Earth"" -- for good reason :-) . . . . .  it was hard to come home. While in the Cooks, my wife and I renewed our wedding vows at the same place we were married in 1992.

Leslie Fournier
Immigrated to Canada in 2006 with my husband Jay Fraser.  We are currently living on Salt Spring Island, BC.  We love living in a ""foreign"" culture - and yes, Canada is culturally different the US - not as stark a difference as a foreign country with a different language, but different none-the-less.  We love living in the Great White North - the pace of life is slower, the quality of life is less hurried, more "organic" and environmentally conscious.  Still working in the hi-tech industry - a far cry from my Music and German Area Studies degrees, but enjoy exercising the problem resolution skills it takes to work in this field.
I would love to hear from any of the folks who were in Koeln (Fall '82) or Tuebingen (84/85) the same time as I was.

Evergreen Engineering has multiple offices in the US  and provides one stop design and construction services to the High-tech, solar, light industrial, bio-fuels, and wood industries. I am the Principal in charge of the code consulting and architectural group. Growth in the architectural group will supplement the engineering services we provide to our core clients; code expertise adds a unique capability not found in other firms. This specialty service is also filling a void in the local market. Evergreen is becoming the code consultant of choice for many local architectural and construction firms; anticipate steady growth even through the tough economic conditions of 2009.

I work for Hill & Knowlton in one of Asia's largest offices as an account director in the tech practice. My entire career so far has been with marketing/communications agencies (I graduated from UO's school of journalism with a degree in PR).
