UO journalism student abroad featured in Vienna Review

UO journalism student Sam Polloway co-authored a lead story for the Vienna Review, while participating in the AHA Journalism in Vienna program, spring term.

The article entitled Sick of Austerirty: The Crisis in EU Health Care describes the outcomes of many austerity measures and civil unrest in southern Europe.

Journalism in Vienna is a UO Global Seminar that meets at an AHA site. Journalism in Vienna is a joint program between AHA, UO School of Journalism and Communications, and UO Study Abroad Programs.

This is the first-ever offering of the program, led by Professor Peter Laufer, J. Wallace Chair in Journalism, and managed on-site by Frauke Binder, the AHA Vienna site director.
